The EBL Foundation 5K is an annual fundraiser event for The EBL Foundation Scholarship partners and community supporters.
WHAT: EBL Foundation 5K Run/Walk
WHERE: Gene Green Park | 6500 East Sam Houston Pkwy N, Houston, TX 77049
WHEN: Event Day: July 18, 2026 | Check-In: 7:00 am | Pre-Race Ceremony: 7:30 am | Race Start Time: 8:00 am
WHO: Runners, walkers, stroller-pushers, and little ones are invited to attend; whether you want to cover the entire 5K distance or enjoy a friendly mile, come support this great cause and have some fun.
What’s Included: T-shirt and Runner Bib
Please note: Appropriate attire and closed-toe athletic footwear are required. Please refrain from wearing revealing clothing, such as biker/compression shorts, tank tops, tights, leggings, or clothing with “inappropriate designs.”

This event is for ages 17+ that will be power walking the entire event.

Health & Wellness Run Race
This event is for ages 17+ that will be running the entire event.

Parent & Me Race
This event is for ages 17+ and toddler/babies that will be walking or running the event.

Youth Walkathon
This event is for ages 13-17. Youth have the option to join power walk or health and wellness run. Discount for youth!

Kids Walkathon
This event is for ages 5-12. Kids have the option to join power walk or health and wellness run. Note: Must get kids shirt.
